Media Release Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce the Refund procedure for the tickets purchased for the 2nd ODI which was to be played in Colombo on the 27th of August 2014. Refunds will take place from the 2nd of September 2014 to the 10th of September 2014 from 10 am to 3.30 pm at the SLC head office, 35, Maitland Place, Colombo 7. It is compulsory for the Ticket holders to produce the original ticket purchased in order to receive the refund. Media Release Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce that All Tickets purchased for the 2nd ODI which was to be played at R.Premadasa Stadium on the 27th of August 2014, will be refunded by Sri Lanka Cricket from the 2nd September to 10th September 2014 between 9 am and 4 pm. Further Entrance for the the 2nd ODI which will be played on the 26th of August 2014 in Hamabantota will be open to the public FREE OF CHARGE except for the main pavilion and the Grand Stand.

Media Release At a meeting held today with regard to the above, a decision has been taken to conduct the 2nd ODI in Hambanthota due to the bad weather condition in Colombo. The Match is advanced by one day to the 26th of August 2014 and will be played as  a Day Night game. 27th of August would be the Rain Reserve Day. West Indies to start World T20 title defence against India

The International Cricket Council (ICC) yesterday announced the match schedules and ticket sale plans for the ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014, which will be staged from 16 March to 6 April. The West Indies’ men will defend the title they won last year in Colombo while Australia’s women will aim to complete a hat-trick of titles after having won the previous two finals in Barbados and Colombo. As many as 60 tournament matches (35 men’s and 25 women’s) will be played across Chittagong, Dhaka and Sylhet in the 22-day tournament. Important Notice to the General Public

Further to the decision to change the venue of the New Zealand tour ODI’s from Colombo to Kandy due to the prevailing weather condition, the general public are advised that tickets purchased for the 2nd & 3rd of the ODI which was supposed to be played in Colombo, will be valid for the Kandy matches. The general public who will not be able to use their tickets and  who require a refund for their purchased tickets are requested to collect their refunds from the SLC head office before 12.30 pm on or before the 4th of November 2012. Tickets for the 2nd & 3rd ODI are available in Kandy at the Abans City Center & the Pallekelle Stadium

Change in venue of second and third ODIs against NZ

Media Release Sri Lanka Cricket in consultation with New Zealand Cricket and Host Broadcaster Taj Entertainment Network has decided to change the venue for the 2nd & 3rd ODI’s of the the on going series against New Zealand from R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo to Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. The matches will be played on the 4th and 6th of November. Tickets issued for the 2nd and 3rd ODI’s previously will be valid for entry into the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on match day.
