Selectors still overlooked Janaka Gunaratna, instead they selected Chamara Silva, Dilruwan Perera.
Janaka Gunaratna won the Best Bowler award in the last year domestic T 20 Tournament and this year he won the man of the match award in the final due to his blistering 83 of 42 bowls . May be none of the slectors watched this final match. If any one critically analyse. all the bowlers got hammered was either played for SL team in the past or playing for SL now. so no body can claim that inning was against weak opporsition bowlers.

Where is Janaka Gunarathna??? A Genuine allrounder.. anyone saw the inter provincial finals yesterday?? Janak hit 83 of just 40 balls.. no one could stophim he was unstoppable.. the most experinaced players of the world cricket was there on the opposite side such as Mahela Jayawardene, Thilan Samaraweera..but they only could watch as he blazed through his innings with some great power hitting and controlled stroke play and contributed with the ball as well to get rid of weel set Thilan Samaraweera. This indeed an eye opener for the selectors and they should serioulsly consider him as he can bat at any place as well as steady the innings with his huge experiance in the domestic seen and in England experiance. SELECTORS… AT LEAST GIVE THIS GUY A CHANCE.. HE HAS PROVED THAT HE IS A PLAYER IN THE TOP CALIBER… Why Chamara Silva & Dilruwan in the squad??? they hardly can hit the ball out of the ground.. good for a test matach.
