Left handed batsman Kaveen Bandara stroked an elegant unbeaten 81 runs to help Sri Lanka U17 win the third and final one day match against England U17 by 7 wickets and wrap up the series 2-1 in favor of the hosts at R.Premadasa International Stadium on Monday. The tour opener of the England U17 team, first one day game of the three match series with their Sri Lankan counterparts ended today at Surrey Village with England U17 winning the match by 41 runs. After last year’s successful Sri Lanka U-17 tour of England in August under the captaincy of this year’s Royal College captain Chamika Karunaratne, this year the young lads from the United Kingdom are in the island of the Indian ocean to play a series of 3 ODI’s and a 3- day match,  17th – 27th April 2014.
