The foundation stone laying ceremony of the Indoor Cricket building in Pallekele, Kandy was held today. Sports Minister Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara, Central Province Chief Minister Hon. Sarath Ekanayake, Member of Parliament Keheliya Rambukwella, Sidath Wettimuny Chairman-SLC Interim Committee were present at the ceremony. Giving the outstation cricketers the best facilities possible to reach their potential is the vision of Chairman Sidath Wettimuny. Tharindu Kaushal backed to get doosra cleared

SA’ADI THAWFEEQ Sri Lanka’s fast rising off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal has been cleared of bowling his off-breaks but not his doosra which the International Cricket Council (ICC) feels is not within the legal parameter of 15 degrees. However Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is of the view that by working proactively with the ICC and other biomechanical experts Kaushal has a good chance of getting this particular delivery also cleared. The West Indies tour of Sri Lanka 2015 was officially launched at a media conference held at Taj Samudra hotel on Tuesday evening.  The two-match Test series will be named after two great cricketers,and captains of the past Sir Garfield Sobers of West Indies and Michael Tissera of Sri Lanka. West Indies will play two Tests, three ODIs and two T20Is during their tour.
