Bangladesh tour of Sri Lanka 2017 schedule announced

Sri Lanka Cricket together with the Bangladesh Cricket Board has confirmed the schedule of Bangladesh tour to Sri Lanka which starts from February 27th and will last till April 6th. The tour will start with a twoday warm-up match which will be played in Moratuwa followed by two Test matches, the first of which is scheduled to be played in Galle while the second will be played at P.Sara Oval. There are also three ODI matches, out of which two are to be played in Dambulla while the third will be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground. SL Deaf Cricket Team to participate at Asia Deaf Cricket Cup 2017

15 th February 2017, Colombo: A talented team of 15 players who form the Sri Lankan Deaf Cricket Team have been given an impetus by Cricket Aid, which will sponsor the team’s visit to India to participate in the upcoming 3rd Asia Deaf Cricket Cup 2017, scheduled to be held in Hyderabad. The team which participated in the same tournament in 2012 in Pakistan emerged as Runners Up. The UK Lions tour of Sri Lanka is scheduled to begin from 13th of February and will last till the 10th March. The tour includes two test matches of which one is scheduled to be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium while the other will be played at the Dambulla International Cricket Stadium. Gala reception for National team – tickets sold out

Tickets for the charity Gala dinner hosted by Sri Lanka Cricket to facilitate the Sri Lankan National Cricket Team in Australia have been sold out according to the organizers. The proceeds from the ticket sales is for the ‘Cricket Aid’ initiative, which is Sri Lanka Cricket’s only charitable arm. The team and well-wishers will be hosted to a grand reception on Saturday 18th from 6:30pm onwards at Cathies Lane Wantirna, South Victoria. At the reception well-wishers will also be afforded the opportunity of taking photographs with their favourite cricketers. Come 13th February, the National team will be embarking on a tour of Australia which includes three International T20 matches.
