Jayawardena replaces Sangakkara as number-one Test batsman

Prasad Ruled Out of 2nd Test

Dhammika Prasad is ruled out of the 2nd Test match against India scheduled for 24th November at Kanpur. Prasad has injured his left hamstring whilst fielding on day 4. MRI scans later revealed a mild Grade 1 strain. Tillekeratne Dilshan also suffered a nose injury whilst being involved in a post match warm up game upon conclusion of the 1st Test match. The under 19 Tri nation one day series between Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to get underway on 29th November with the first encounter scheduled to be Played at the newly constructed stadium at pallekela in Kandy.
