He will lead the Fast Bowling Coaching unit which will also include Champaka Ramanayake & Anusha Samaranayake. Mahela Jayawardene injured his finger and will be ruled out of the homes series against Bangladesh starting in the first week of March. Jayawardene dislocated the middle finger of his left hand while attempting a catch on Sunday in a domestic first class game for SSC against NCC at his home ground. Scans had later shown a fracture. His scan reports have already been dispatched to Australia for further investigations but experts said that the forecast is not very good for the veteran batsman to play the Bangladesh series. Sri Lanka Cricket has proven the growth of it’s brand image with the receipt of highly competitive bids from four parties vying to Sponsor the National Cricket teams for a period of three years, starting from June 2013. Among the Companies, who have come forward for the bidding are, Dialog Axiata, Madison Media, Sri Lanka Tea Board & Total Sports Asia.
