SLC & PRIMA GROUP – Launch ‘Coaching Posters’ Island wide

The ‘Coaching Department’ of SLC in association with the ‘Prima Group’ will soon launch a series of educational Cricket ‘Coaching Posters’ island wide which will be displayed at all Cricket playing grounds school / Club in the Country. An initiative taken by the ‘Coach Education Unit’ a division within the SLC Coaching Department & powered by the ‘Prima Group’ has made a joint contribution in producing this information on coaching which will be taken across the Country to all Cricket playing environments. England ladies victorious

English ladies emerged victorious today in the T20 international played the NCC Grounds in Colombo against hosts Sri Lanka. Batting 1st Sri Lanka only managed to get 95 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Visitors chased down the target in the 16th over with the loss of only 2 wickets. Womens 2nd ODI called off

The 2nd Women’s ODI between Sri Lanka and England ended in  No Result when play had to be called off during the initial stages of the England reply to Sri Lanka’s 173 in 38 overs. England women win opener

World Champions England held Sri Lanka to 187 for 9 to secure a tight, five-run win in the first one-day international of their limited-overs series at the Nondescripts Ground in Colombo. A poor show by the Sri Lankan middle order didn’t do any justice to the great show put on by the bowlers. Claire Taylor’s half-century, her 22nd in ODIs, held England’s middle order together amid a four-wicket haul for seamer Deepika Rasangika as the visitors were bowled out for 192 after being put in to bat. Sri Lanka Climbs to Number 2 in ICC ODI Ranking

Sri Lanka National team is placed number 2 in the ICC ODI ranking after their historic series win against Australia in the recently concluded 3 match ODI series. Sri Lanka beat the Australians 2-1 and has replaced India who was placed at number 2 prior to Sri Lanka’s tour of Australia.
