Sri Lanka National team is placed number 2 in the ICC ODI ranking after their historic series win against Australia in the recently concluded 3 match ODI series. Sri Lanka beat the Australians 2-1 and has replaced India who was placed at number 2 prior to Sri Lanka’s tour of Australia.

The National Coaching Staff of SLC was engaged in a 3 day intensive training program at the SLC headquarters (Oct. 5 to 7) with regard to the usage of a New Zealand produced software ‘Silicon Coach’. This software helps the Coach to analyze the player better once the video footage is installed to the computer. This information is of help to all Coaches whether it may be in batting, bowling or fielding.
