STAR Sports to produce live broadcast coverage of four of six warm-up matches The ICC has announced the schedule of warm-up matches to be played in the lead-up to the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 to be staged at Cardiff Wales Stadium, Edgbaston and The Oval from 6 to 23 June. The matches will be played from 30 May to 4 June at the three tournament venues. In line with previous ICC events, none of these matches will carry official ODI status. Media Release Further to the several news items being circulated regarding the purchase of 2 Power Generators, Sri Lanka Cricket would like to state that in 2011 SLC purchased 2 Power Generators (1250 kva) at a cost of Rs. 61.8 million to operate Flood Light Systems of the 3 venues of the 2011 world cup. When Sri Lanka Cricket was invited to host the 2011 ICC World Cup in Sri Lanka, it was mandatory to have high powered generators for flood lights.
