Sri Lanka Under 19 Team won the 5 ODI series against Bangladesh Under 19

Sri Lanka completed a series victory over Bangladesh by beating them by 62 runs in the fifth and final game of the series in Mirpur. It was an impressive turnaround for the young visitors, after they were down 2-1 after the third game. Sri Lanka Under-19s 185 (Anurudhda 50, Rifat 3-29) beat Bangladesh Under-19s 123 (Mehedy 37, Mendis 3-24) by 62 runs. Click here for Series scorecards. Series Stats:

Bangladesh Under-19 fought off an extraordinary final over by Ramesh Mendis to win the third one-dayer by one wicket against Sri Lanka Under-19 in Mirpur. The offspinner Mendis took three wickets, but Mustafizur Rahman hit the final ball for four to give the hosts a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Dearth of Fast Bowlers coming through Schools Cricket System

Cricket Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) at a recent meeting unanimously decided to inform School Authorities and Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association that there is a dearth of Fast Bowlers, coming through the school system to facilitate Sri Lanka cricket at the elite level. Academies to Register with SLC, Through an Accreditation System

SLC Interim Committee has approved to register all private Cricket Academies around the country and have an accreditation system for all Cricket Academies renewable every 2 years. At present 32 Academies have already enlisted with Sri Lanka Cricket and it was decided to award accreditation to the 32 Academies that conform to the requirements and guidelines setup by Sri Lanka Cricket. The Academies will need to conform to the following requirements and guidelines as stated below . 1.
