Player Replacements for 2nd Test Match:Mathews, Eranga return

Fast Bowler Shaminda Eranga has been drafted in to the Sri Lankan squad for the 2nd Test match against England to be played at the P.Sara oval in Colombo.Eranga’s inclusion was prompted due to the injury sustained by fellow Seamer Chanaka Welagedara.

Further, all rounder Angelo Mathews will be returning to the squad in place of Chamara Silva as he has fully recovered from injury, which kept him out of the 1st Test in Galle.

selectors replaced mathiws back in the test team is not wise dissition. because he is a one day player. i think better give a chance to chamara silva. in domestic cricket and practist match against england he did well.

Mathews future as bowler is doubtful so at this type.of.a situation it is not.neccessary to play him in the next test this was a very good chance to test angelo perera who played really wel against england he is an ideal no.6 player but wasted by the selectors.

wrong news item as mathews does returne only as a batter. Better to have waited and given him necessary treatment etc needed for full recovery, as tis is a special talent we are misusing. SLC to take full blame. Will the selectors take responsibility if he becomes injurred at the match? This is test cricket, not ODI/T20, and one needs to be serious. Hope <Mathews knows what he is doing; he needs proper advice from a reliable pro.
