Photos: Sri Lanka Under 17 tour of England – Departure

Sri Lanka Under 17 team left to England this morning(8th August), England tour will take place during August 9 to 25. Royal College allrounder Chamika Karunaratne is the skipper of the side while Madawa Nimesh from Royal Panadura will be his deputy on tour.

A Special Grant of Rs. 100,000/- was given to each player of the National Under 17 team before they took wing to England today. This Special Grant was given to the players for their welfare and nourishment.

    Good luck to our young guns of sri lanka cricket. Hope you can do better in england. Also we would like to see great players being produced by these teams to replace our struggling national team in near future. Best of luck and go the young lions.
