MAS Kadurata led by Chamara Kapugedera established a new domestic record by scoring the highest team total of 727 runs against Basnahira North in the recently concluded Provincial league encounter concluded over the weekend.
The previous record of 683 was by Colts Cricket Club in a division one game against Galle CC in 2003 at NCC.
The New record was established at the Moors grounds on Sunday the 21st of March.
In reply to Basnahira Norths’ first innings score of 530 all out, MAS Kadurata replied with the record breaking total of 727 all out in 186.5 overs.
