1.They do not have a good bowling attack when MALINGA does extremely well for IPL Mumbai Indians under Sachin paaji.
2.Only Mutthiah Muralidharan is the only spinner.
3.Mendis does not bowl well against INDIA and PAKISTAN.He was not even in the team for his franchisee.
4.Sanga and Jayawardene are the only good players.
5.They do not have many bowling options.
6.INDIA WILL WIN THE WORLD CUP………..
7.VIJAY,GAMBHIR,RAINA,YUVRAJ,ROHIT,…………………..and bat upto ZAHEER KHAN

Every crickect fan around the world is writing off Sanath. Give him a chance. Please do not discourage players before a big tournament. He is the fittest player in the team. One good knock from him will change the entire spirit of the game and give a huge boost to the SL team to win the T20 Trophy. All the very best to Sanath & the team.

I am positive that we would perform very well in the T/20 World Cup. All our top batsmen and bowlers appear to be in good form! So long as we get the right team and play sensibly , there is no reason why we should not win the cup!

1st of all i like to wish all the best to our natonal team we can do it man we’ll do it this time…
guys now we have a squad for our T-20 world cup. its a great n balance team. now its not a time to blame or tell anything wrong to anyone coz now we have to encourage the team & every Sri Lankan player. now the job is in their hand, selection commitee kept the faith on Sanath coz they think he will deliver the good in the worls cup. we must encourage him also & our Cricket captan Sanga.
Sanga you are doing a great job but i see some mistakes.when you are under pressure you should be calm.when u are batting you handle the pressure very well but when you are on the field you should be calm and not to be pannic. you have lot of expeirience guys you should get the best out of them with their performences n ideas. this is what i think sanga u can do it.

On behalf of the cricket loving public, I wish the Sri Lankan Captain and players the very best. We all hope that you play out of your skins and bring the T / 20 Cup to Sri Lanka.
As for Kumar Sangakkara you are a good player and you definitely have an experienced bunch of talented players with a combination of experience and youth. Trust in them and get the maximum from each one of them, you got it in you to achieve it for Sri Lanka. On a final note forget all the negative comments and take the positives, same applies to the whole squad. Any decision taken by you and the Team Management on that day will be backed to the hilt by one and all.
A word to Sanath the “Matara Mauler. We still believe in your ability and all round talent and so do the National Selectors and all Sri Lankans, you have done us proud in the past and we look to the future too. So good luck to the well known master blaster.

i really like the comments about rizwan vass shows more colours than sanath,but feel sorry to the team we are in still politics.sanath cricket is over, he is below avarage.look guys shame on u sanath keep your status and time to say bye, v need more young guys to e in sl team.this is a first challenge to our new sports minister.

Everythings was fine. But what i can beleive is whay wouldnt give a chance to Vaas. comeon guys think about him he is the most talanted and expierence fast bowler ever we had in Sri Lanks. morever he was performing very well in IPL recently.
Anyway lets hope for the best.But Sanath defenietly should think about him rather playing and getting embarrasement.

Now, Jeevantha Kulatunga the bowler. 4 Wickets in 25 overs , low E/R of 2.6 , 5 maidens, in yesterday (22/4/2010) Wayamba – Bas. North Inter Prov match.
All these while Kulatunga had been sidelined in the bowling dept. Muba had no option but to give Kulatunga bowling in this match since he has run out of bowlers because regular bowlers like Wela, Ajantha are out at T20 WC. Decision to giving some overs for a player to bowl is in the captains hands. While Muba as the captain was bowling more overs than any player in all the matches putting the teams winning the matches at risk even when the regular bowlers are present in numbers, Kulatunga despite his good bowling abilities, was never considered for a fair bowling opportunity. One eg, is in 2009 Prov, T20 final, when the opening pair was hammering the regular bowlers , Kulatunga was given one over and he broke the partnership taking a catch from his own bowling and if the couple of catches were not dropped he would have gotten more wickets, but he was not given to bowl there after.
However much you try to supress the talents, the real talent surfaces. You cannot go against the nature.
Kulatunga is an undisputed alrounder.
