Right handed middle order batsman Chamara Silva is set to make his ODI comeback when Sri Lanka will take on Bangladesh for the first ODI in the IDEA cup triangular which also involves India. He played his last ODI in August 2008 against India in Colombo. Team management will be hoping that Silva’s comeback would pave the way for a better performance from their under performed middle order.

Team sources also revealed that Sri Lanka will be bolstering their pace attack with three frontline pacemen. Chanaka Welagedara will spearhead the atttack supported by Suranga Lakmal and Nuwan Kulasekera.

Team for today’s game will be as follows.

Tillekeratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Kumar Sangakkara, Thilan Samaraweera, Chamara Silva, Thilina Kandamby, Muthumudalige Pushpakumara, Nuwan Kulasekera, Suraj Randiv, Chanaka Welagedara & Suranga Lakmal.
