Dilshan to play today

Dashing Sri Lankan opener Thilekeratne Dilshan will be taking part in the ODI encounter today to be played against India at Mirpur. Team sources reveal that Dilshan was declared fit by team physio Tommy Simsek this morning and the management have decided to go with Dilshan during the team meeting which was concluded a short while ago.

This will also mean that Mahela Jayawardena, who made a sparkling hundred the other night while opening against Bangladesh will be batting in his customary position at No. 4, paving the way for Dilshan.

Sri Lanka have further strengthened their pace attack by recalling inform pacemen Welagedara and Lakmal for today’s game after they were rested for the game against Bangladesh.
