Galle emerge champs – SLC Women’s U23 Super Provincial

SLC WOMEN’S U23 SUPER PROVINCIAL TOURNEY 2019 

Galle emerged champions of the Sri Lanka Cricket Women’s Under-23 Super Provincial Tournament 2019. They headed the points table with  28.60 points having chalked up 2 first innings wins of their 3 matches played and drawn one.

Runners-up Dambulla totaled 23.90 points with one first innings win and two draws while third placed Colombo had 14.00 points with two draws and one loss. Fourth placed Kandy totaled 12.10 points with a draw having lost two matches.

Meanwhile, Kandy’s Lihini Apsara was adjudged the Best Batter

having aggregated 193 runs in 5 innings from the three matches.

Galle’s Sulesha Sathsarani was adjudged best bowler having claimed 12 wickets conceding 87 runs off 37 overs  in 4 innings from three matches.

Meanwhile,  Galle’s Shikari Nuwantha was adjudged the Best All-Rounder for her 70 runs in 3 innings and 8 wickets conceding 37 runs off 23 overs.
