Sri Lankan middle order batsman Thilina Kandamby will lead the Basnahira North side for the upcoming One Day & T20 inter Provincial tournament. Kumar Sangakkara, Tilekeratne Dilshan, Jehan Mubarak & Upul Tharanga will lead the other Provincial sides (Kandurata, Basnahira South, Wayamba,& Ruhuna) respectively.
The inter Provincial season will kick off on the 6th of February with the commencement of the One Day tournament. All Provincial teams are packed with players of great repute, making this event an absolute attraction for the keen local Cricket fans.

How is Madura Lakmal in? He cannot find a regular place in his club team. So how is he expected to play in the Provincial tourney? As usual injuries to other fast bowlers will ensure his place.

INdika de saram. jayasuriya. chamindavas.murali now too old the playing cricket. You (selection commi)should give the chance young school boys to play the match. for get some experince they future. please remove .murali. vas. jayasuriya. indika for this tournaments.

U 19 players in the caliber of Gunathilaka And Chatura Peiris should be included in the provincial tournament. Surely omitting of Chatura come as a surprise and Gunathilaka seems to have some level headed approach to the game under pressure as an all-rounder. I hope the selectors would consider them for the Provincial tournament. Better not to lose the young talent. Mind some players take extra time to achieve their true potential. Cheers

Why is this andre berenger, being selected over and over, when he had failed from the tour of australia towards the U 19 world cup 2010…
Once he had hit a 20 or 30,other personal performance were a utter waste.
Why not trying Denuwan the other keeper, cause at his given minimum opportunity he had scored 94 against W.Indies in the 2010 world cup.
The other players like Chatura Peiris, and Danishka Gunathilleke keeping on the sidelines is a question mark

How come this permanent non performer, Andri Berenger being selected when he has failed from the tour of australia, then inducted in the triangular in SL, then was there for South African Tour till the world cup, when he had very less handful of 20s to 30s, maybe 2 or 3
Why aren’t this Denuwan the reserve keeper overlooked, when he had played a knock of 94 against the West Indian pace attack
Chatura Peiris and Dhanushka Gunathilake kept on the sidelines too is a tough call
I believe those 2 deserve along with Denuwan deserve places than some of the players who’ve been appointed in the team

I realy think RUHUNA team Members are younger than other teams.as egsampale ruhuna team caption is Upul Tharanga.he is 23years old and vice caption Dinesh Chandimal,he is 20years old.but sanath jayasooriya playing in ruhuna team.he is older than any all players in world cricket.acttualy he has a many experince of cricket.because i think very compitable team is rhuna.
