Sri Lankan national team Manager Brendon Kuruppu when contacted, clarified to srilankacricket.lk that media reports originating from Kolkata regarding an incident involving player security lapses were untrue.
Elaborating on the matter Mr. Kuruppu stated that players had informed the security post located at the hotel prior to their departure from the premises on Tuesday night and Police protection was provided to the relevant players at all times until their return to the hotel.
Further he wished to state that no curfew was imposed on the team members for Tuesday evening.
