Pakistan and Sri Lanka in UAE 2013/14 – Sri Lanka ODI & T20I Squads

At a Selection Committee meeting held on 22/11/2013, the following selections were made by the National Selectors with regard to the Squad for the Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan which the Pakistan Cricket Board is hosting in the United Arab Emirates – with Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah being the venues. The tour commences on December 6, 2013 with the arrival of the Sri Lankan squad at Dubai, and shall continue through to January 21, 2014.

Minister of Sports Hon. Mahindananda Aluthgamage has approved the above Squad.

    Sanath could have included a left arm fast bowler in the ODI squad and test him in the ODI series since Pakistan has so many right hand batsmen. Further finding out a left arm fast bowler will be effective for CWC 2015 as well. May be Chanaka welagedera or Wimukthi Perera.
