To Sport ministry of Srilanka,
This world cup was for srilanka………… The last minutes team selection was not the great idea, whoever did the selection should be fired. The team didn’t play what they normal would do………. The fans had all the hope this Wc for srilanka. if the selection was not to win this 2011 world cup, well you basically put the team down for one person then that was the stupid decision.
Well Team don’t worry about it do you best for the up coming matches………

Well, guys its a disappointing finish ! What a Shame .It was a close call, unfortunately our selectors are totally responsible for the loss of the 2011 world cup, these guys have been mucking around the top team we had and making Murali to play when he is not fit to play.This is not at all acceptable.
I have been watching the entire series of the 2011 world cup and we came so close,end of the day we lost,Thanks to MAHELA JAYAWARDANA, if not for him would have been embracing for Kumar Sangakara’s team.the field setting was horrible ! fielding was not up to the standard.It’s absolutely disappointing ,The blame goes to the the selectors !

I including all Pakistani’s best wishes am with you and we are praying for your success in the final of ICC world cup 2011. Although team’s position is very strong but in your last match I was not satisfied with the fielding. I think if you want to win you must be in the ground with this thinking that you are the winner and that no one can take this chance. You must not drop any catch of Indian team as Pakistani team did by dropping 7 catches in semi final. You also must stop the boundaries too of Indian to stop them of making over 250.
This is a great chance for you to defeat india in their own country. In my view only SRI LANKAN team is the winner of ICC World Cup and we all PAKISTANI are waiting you with the world CUP. We WANT world cup in your hand.

Had Dilshan & Sangkara were little bit sensible the yesterday’s win wouldn’t have been that difficult. After they had overcome the difficult initial stages, they should have avoided all those cross batted lofted strokes because they are experienced enough to know, how difficult it is a new batsman to start their innings all over under those tough batting conditions. Luckily we had a half fit young batsman of good reflexes in Angelo Mathews & much neglected veteran of all seasons in Samaraweera. The young 20 year NZ’der Kane W’son is a treat to watch. It is good food for thought for our selector to concentrate more on our intelligent promising energetic proven young players of good reflexes who can quickly get adjust to any situation, rather than employing same ordinary aging club cricketers for tours after tours.
