Sri Lanka wins Tri-Nation U19 series in South Africa

Sri Lanka under-19 cricket team beat South Africa under-19 by 77 runs at Boland Park in Paarl on Saturday in the final match for the 2016/17 Tri-Nations Under-19 Tournament. The home side was shot out for just 79 runs in 32.4 overs after Sri Lanka had made a modest 156 from 44.5 overs having elected to bat first.

Sri Lanka Under-19: 156 in 44.5 overs (Ashen Bandara 33, Praveen Jayawickrema 20, Ruan de Swardt 3/30, Kenan Smith 2/29)

South Africa Under-19: 79 in 32.4 overs (Praveen Jayawickrema 2/13, Nipun Ransika 5/19, Hareen Weerasingha 2/5).
