Thilan Thushara to join National team

Left arm fast bowler Thilan Thushara Mirando is set to take wing to the West Indies as an additional player tonight. Sri Lanka Cricket’s (SLC ) Head of Cricket Operations Ashley De Silva revealed to srilankacricket.lk that Mirando will be joining the national team as additional cover for Muttiah Muralidharan who is recovering from a groin injury.

However, Mirando will only be considered for selection if Muttiah Muralidharan is unable to take further part in the ongoing ICC World T20.

Sri Lanka is due to take on West Indies tomorrow in the 2nd round of the competition.

    YEAH….we can send VAASI…he played well in IPL and also he can swing the ball both sides…
    but our selectors do not bother those things…funny guys…funny selectors..

    because all the pitches are seems good for spinners
    we have Malinga bandara, Loku aarachi & Herath
    Loku aarachi can hit the ball to over boundaries

    or we have good seamers than thilina thusara
    Mahroof or Vaasi can be the best
    becoz both of them performed well in IPL
