Young Cricketers graduate in to next phase of training

In keeping with the vision of incumbent administration of Sri Lanka Cricket, Human Resources Department has recently launched its second phase of skills development program for budding cricketers in the Development Squad and Max Academy.

This segment of training which is themed “Personal Grooming and Social Etiquette for your life style as Cricketers” has so far enthralled youngsters and beckoned much enthusiasm. This phase of training is being handled by FH Academy, a subsidiary of Hameedias with a panel of experts in distinctive disciplines which would be covered in the program. The Resource Personnel comprise Mr. Fauzul Hameed, Managing Director of Hameedias himself, Mrs. Dila Hettiarachchi, a reputed Corporate Etiquette Trainer, Ms. Rozanne Diaz, former Miss Sri Lanka who is now a specialist in personal grooming / model training and Ms. Ramani Fernando, a signature name in hair dressing & beauty therapy.

Most significant feature in this program of training is the practical aspect that has been incorporated in to the curriculum, thus making it a highly interactive and engrossing study. This specially handpicked panel of Resource Personnel imparts their expertise knowledge and experience with youngsters, in a bid to make them professionals par excellence in every aspects of their life besides having being groomed to bring glory to the motherland as true ambassadors in the international theatre of cricket. This phase of skills development training will be conducted for 5 days in a span of two weeks, at SLC auditorium and will culminate with a field visit by young cricketers to Hameedias Departmental Store in Colombo-06 and dinner out at Hotel Taj Samudra in their best attire thereby displaying their newly acquired skills and dress sense.
