If sri lanka is going to build a new team with some more youngsters we would atleast be happy.. Why on earth does chmara silva gets chances !!!!
Please bring Roshen Silva , Angelo perera , Bhanuka ! cant we build atleat one of them rather than giving chances to a fool like chamara silva!
Sad to say even malinga bowls more consistent yorkers when he is playing to Mumbai than Sri lanka…

If Sri Lanka is ever gonna good at cricket leave aside these failing guys (drop them );
Chandimal – eneough chances are given but no no impression. simply he is not ready for international cricket
Dilshan – bad performances often. If he performs it is even pretty ordinary meaning that nay other can do that too. Dropp him for at least a couple of both test and IDI sereies
Chamara Silva – no Silva again please. We are fed up watching him
Upul tharanga – not up to the standard as far as consistency is concerned. Only once in a while performances. Drop him and play another, even an pretty ordinary guy will do better than him
Mahela is making no impression. Not good perfamanecs often and when he perform it is even pretty ordinary – drop him for next couple of Test and ODI series, definitely for Test he should be dropped
Think about bowlers too. They are not impressive. Please Nuwna Kulasekara for ODIs. Ajanth Menids should be given chances in nex couple of series as current bowlers in the team are no better than him

I think Aravida De Silva was extremely correct to say that Chandimal was not up to the standard of international cricket. He should be dropped now and he can play when is is ready.
Other players to be dropped are Upul Tharanga, chamara Silva and TM Dilshan. Perhaps some more. Give them some rest or drop out time so that they can come back strong. Dilshan is given chances as if they are taken for granted. why not drop him too.
Does the SL have enogh depth to drop those guys? Is SL in a talent drought? No talents other than these failures?
I SL Cricket is going to stick to these same failing guys we will be not fans of SL team anyomre. As fans we have other interesting teams and games to watch.
At this rate SL can not beat even Bangladesh and West Indies. I wonder if they are contemplating now to have Test and ODI series with SL so that their winning ratio and international ranking can be improved.
SL players should accept that they need to work hard on their defects. Nothing is taken for granted as far as games of sports are concern, unless some match fixing going on.

Sri Lanka should sack that fat lump of shit Marsh as coach and save valuable foreign exchange for all he has done for the team. Sanga and mahela should resign from this pathetic side if they want to preserve their reputations and be remembered for their contributions to Sri Lanka cricket. That b**** Sanath Jayasuriya should be drawn and quartered for messing up the team.

Sri Lanka will only provide opportunities for South Africa to set up new records on their tour of South Africa. With a corrupt board dodgy selections and lousy coaches what else can one expect ? The other irritating matter is for us to bear the brunt of Sanath Jayasuriya’s lousy commentary. This mothers son can hardly speak a single grammatically correct sentence and finds tremendous difficulty in stringing two words together. Why is the SOB being given assignment after assignment. He should be shot with his own S–T.

ANOTHER EMBARASSMENT to SL fans. This was expected. Feel sorry for Sanga, as he’s always in the wrong side. He’s in a different planet from his team mates. SLC have stuck to the same side. They were thumped against Pak and what will SA do? SA are better than Pak and the SA patches are tougher to bat on. I predict a 3-0 and 4-0 thrashing to be handed by the S.Africans to this USELESS SL side.

Chandimal has given enough chances to bat at the best position in the team. But his performances are very poor. Even Mahela and Sanga was push back in the batting order to give him chances. I think now its time to think about some one else.

But he is one of the promising young prospect to represent Sri Lanka after the retirement of Aravida, who can be placed at the same level of AB de Viliers of SA. He is a batsman who has total control over almost all strokes he plays. He should have been brought straight into the side immediately after his double century against NZ. He isn’t a batsman to carry water , which has hampered his confidence a somewhat. He has got into this position after proving his worth as a schoolboy & leading the Premier Division batting run Aggregate. Only a Very few people know that he is ranked 15 th in the all time First Class Batting list with an average of 58+ (qualified by 50 or more 1st Class Innings)which is lead by Sir Don Bradman.
Angelo Perera (the Best Schoolboy Batsman of the year 2009 & leading run getter of U-23 2010 )and Bahanuka Rajapaksha (the Best Schoolboy Crickter of the year 2010 & 2011 and he is also one of the top three batsmen in the Youth WC held in NZ) are two other top grade batsmen who can take the place of the under performing seniors.
