However, one thing is not sure. It is about Chandiaml. did chandimal want to build a big score even scrapping away the scoring rate. He seemed to be consuming a lot of ball but to continue with it so that he gets a big score!! If it is the case, it is selfish and not thinking about the team. What is it?

Veteran scorer Anura Ratnayake reached a personal landmark in his career when he officiated in his 150th school cricket match for S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia during their annual encounter against Wesley College which concluded at Campbell Park yesterday.
Ratnayake (55) started scoring in 2002 and since then he has being officiating in various forms of school cricket matches for S. Thomas’ College including eight Royal Thomian Big Matches.
Ratnayake, a keen collector of school cricket statistics is currently working as a coordinator at the SLC Schools Cricket Development Office and is also the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Scorers Association since 2005.
He had another significant moment when he officiated along with his nephew Isuru Sampath who did the scoring for Wesley College in yesterday’s encounter. (C.D)
