Yes, but despite this outstanding Wayamba bowling unit, Basnahira North has put up a score of 162 which is a very challenging score for a T20 game. Wayamba’s batting that came later had to work hard to beat it. And it has been very close. If the so called “bowling unit” had done well the score would not have been so challenging. ( less than 120 ? )
The problem is that this ‘ Bowling Unit ‘ keeps changing with irregular ones comming to the scene on and off. What I am saying is to give a player like Jeevantha, who is good in bowling, an opportunity to bowl in at least one or two overs in a tournament, when the team sometimes is changing this “bowling Unit”. You never know, sometimes irregular ones rule. For an instance, Mubarak who is not a regular bowler got two wickets in this match, because did bowl and in this instance, a bowler’s full quota.

If you analyse Wayamba’s progress, primarily it is their bowling unit who have put them on top so i don’t think Jeevantha is required to bowl.

Terrific efort by Wayamba skipper, Jehan Mubarak with the bat and ball contributing to a good win. Jeevantha’s contribution with the bat should not go unnoticed as well.
